How to Add Custom Domains to Blogger
In this tutorial, you will learn how to connect your domain to blogspot.
What Do You Need to Prepare?
Before starting the tutorial on how to connect a domain to blogger, there are three things you need to prepare as well as possible:
- Blogger account.
- Active domain.
- Access to the DNS editor (for more details, ask for help with your hosting provider / domain registrar).
Method 1 - Add 2 CNAME records
To use the required CNAME records, go to Settings blog -> Publishing -> + Setup a 3rd party URL for your blog .

Enter the domain name according to the applicable format: www.yourblog.com .
A few moments later a screen will appear showing the required CNAME records.

These records can be added using the DNS editor. For more detailed information, you can contact the hosting provider / domain registrar used. In this tutorial, we will use the Advanced Zone Editor cPanel as an example.
Method 2 (Optional) - Add four A records or divert to www
This optional step allows you to add 4 A records. This way, both www and non-www websites will be uploaded on the blog. If this method is not selected, then blog visitors who access your blog with 'www' will see an error page or another site (depending on your current A record).
To avoid this, A records must be made for the following IP addresses:
216,239.32.21
216,239.34.21
216,239.36.21
216,239.38.21

Similar to the records in step 1, these four records also take up to 24 hours to be fully propagated. Now your blog can be opened via www.example.com or example.com .
Alternatively, you can direct site visitors from non-www blogs to blogs that www. For this method, you do not need A records. This transfer is done after the domain settings are saved, namely by clicking the Edit option in the Blogger Settings .

Conclusion
Through this tutorial, you have learned how to connect your domain to blogspot. It also takes your patience because the DNS propagation process takes up to 24 hours. If the blog cannot be loaded using the domain you created, then try contacting the hosting provider / domain registrar to check whether the records are configured correctly or not.
